Review
EHR Your Way’s core selling point is the ability to take your current forms (progress notes, treatment plans, forms you’re required to complete as part of a contract, etc.) and integrate them into a robust practice management system. As such, EHR Your Way is primarily a good choice for larger groups/agencies that have significant customization needs, especially in the area of documentation.
EHR Your Way offers a significant amount of functionality, including fully integrated electronic insurance billing (including integrated ERAs), a full-featured client portal, and fully customizaable forms and reporting of all types. It’s also Meaningful Use Certified for those that need to comply with that program’s requirements.
Like many of the applications of its kind, EHR Your Way started out as a Remote Desktop (RDP) application, but is being converted to be fully web-browser based. For now, that means that some of the functionality still only exists in the RDP version. These features are primarily those accessed by administrative and billing staff. Clinicians should be able to complete their tasks through the browser-based app. EHR Your Way’s plan is to eventually have all functionality ported to the browser-based app.
If you have a larger group/agency and need significant customization options, especially in the area of documentation, EHR Your Way is worth considering.
